There seemed to be a surplus of volunteers, students were motivated, and parents cheered everyone on. It made me feel so lucky that my children attend a school like Hulstrom. They did pretty well. However, it feels so uncomfortable to me to let them ask people for donations (or to buy things sold at different times of the year, for that matter). I wonder what other parents think. I'm always am embarrassed when I get emails from people asking for me to buy the EBook or whatever their little ones are selling-because I have my own kids selling/asking. What to do? What's the etiquette on this? How necessary are the funds collected from these fundraiseres? <br />Does anyone have any thoughts?
